About the Author
Skilled as a visual artist, Marion Sommer’s joy in creating images through words has always prevailed. As the author of Five Stars, a collection of short stories, she also published The Dull Sea Mare, an illustrated story from that collection, and Ornamental Cats, printed in colour as unique gift books. She wrote and designed Milson,
 a delightfully innovative children’s book that has captivated adult readers just as much. Her most recent creation, Venice. Lament over a Lure, compiles her photographs into a visual journey through what is possibly the most enchanting city in the world.
